Well it should not matter. A lot designers built websites working properly in IE, you probably have seen those messages at the bottom of the home page "Best viewed in Internet Explorer 8" or "Best viewed in 1024x768 resolution". It is easy. You just make it work for the owner of the website but who cares about the rest. I think it is very narrow minded:
- You loose a lot of customers who might not be able to see your website or everything is so crooked so it is just a big turn off
- Did check who your target audience actually is? I did a website once and the designer designed a flash interactive map, which is cool BUT the website was for people with disabilities and none of their software could actually read flash the same way google would not be able to read yours.
We offer free estimates and usability profiling of the websites, if you would like to see how it works just let me know.
